The Declaration of Independence (Full Text)

Below is the full text of the United States Declaration of Independence, whose signing we will celebrate this Saturday, July 4th, and which contained a "long train of abuses," a list of accusations against the government in London that was oppressing the American people and violating their liberties. Now we have another oppressive government in another distant city called Washington. Just take the time to read this important document and feel the weight of its words, the importance of its principles, and the beauty of its language. I stressed to the man I spoke to that this is not a partisan issue and that Bill Clinton balanced the budget and ran surpluses. I urged him to encourage Rep. Cooper to legislate more responsibly. June 29th Rand Paul Moneybomb Today!

Just before 10:00 am EDT, he's raised over $1,300 to put him on the verge of breaking $80,000 for his campaign total. I certainly hope we can push him past $100K and I am prepared to do my little part to make that happen. Stop The Cap and Trade Bill Now!

1. A Strategy to Trend on Twitter The Cap and Trade bill that recently passed the House by a narrow margin, is a true crisis for freedom in America and the world. We have got to make sure it dominates every form of media as the key issue at hand until it is soundly defeated! The election in Iran and the subsequent Mousavi protests made for three of the trending topics on Twitter at any given moment for several days- forcing the mainstream media to increase its coverage, as Twitter is an excellent gauge of the public consciousness and interest. Until we can break through to at least one trending topic with the Cap and Trade issue, the media will continue to ignore the magnitude of this national crisis. 4 Celebrities Die In One Week: Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Billy Mays, and Ed McMahon

This phenomenon in itself is not intrinsically unhealthy or out of sorts. It is certainly worth noting that four cultural icons who ascended to the top of their respective fields and careers have died within the space of one week. Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, died unexpectedly of cardiac arrest late last week on the 25th . That same day, Farrah Fawcett reposed after a long battle with anal cancer. Both deaths occurred only two days after television personality Ed McMahon passed away on June 23rd. Then America learned today that TV salesmen Billy Mays was found dead this morning- June 28th. Okay folks. I have drawn e-mail addresses (out of the nine individual entrants) for the Tea Party Merch Contest , and e-mailed the three winners. A Story About Cap and Trade

He was the sort of man who believed fervently (or at least said he did) in the ideas of a certain early 19th century English economist, who taught that human population growth would eventually outstrip the world of its resources and destroy the planet. I suppose it is with this economist that our story really begins. His solution to the alleged problem of human overpopulation included "positive checks" which raise the death rate, and "negative checks" which lower the birth rate of the human population. He would be a great influence on the mind of a young English naturalist- who taught that those unfit to survive, will naturally perish. Contest Deadline Extension

Because of the very low number of entrants, I'm extending the deadline for the Tea Party Merchandise contest until the end of the day on Saturday (which means if I e-mail you to let you know that you've won, you need to get back in touch with me immediately so I can get you your stuff in time for the Tea Party!).
