This Is The United States Vol #006 - Federal Air Marshal Snafu

From USA Today on August 7, 2014 - On Nov. 1, 2013, when TSA Officer Gerardo Hernandez was shot by a lone gunmen at Los Angeles International Airport and lay bleeding on the ground for more than half an hour and later died, Biles says that "a team of FAMs [federal air marshals] was less than 100 yards from the shooter yet failed to respond or engage the threat." Despite the fact that air marshals typically carry a Sig Sauer P229 and have high shooting skills, trained as they are to fire in the close confines of an aircraft cabin, Biles claims their inaction was "mostly due to a mentality and unwritten policy that exists at the FAMS by upper management that tells air marshals not to get involved." Congresswoman Who Criticized Trump's Phone Call With The Soldier's Widow Is A Hypocrite

First of all, let's get this out of the way first. What was wrong with what Trump said? All the news headlines are clipping off the statement to make it sound dismissive and insensitive: "He knew what he signed up for." Well this is deceptive editing, because what he said was : "He knew what he signed up for... but when it happens, it hurts anyway." If you idiots keep doing this shit, you're going to get Trump reelected in a landslide. This is why so many conservatives love Trump for slamming the media all the time. You guys are all dishonest as hell. There are plenty of actually terrible things about Donald Trump that you can criticize him for without deceptive editing. I'm still trying to figure out what is so horrible about what Trump said. Does Rep. Wilson know what the military does? Yes, the soldier did know he was signing up to fight in wars. Do all these Democrats who are acting appalled today know what happens in wars? S...

100 Great Anti-War Quotes

The following is a list of 100 Anti-War quotes. Many of them come from America's venerated Founding Fathers like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Benjamin Franklin, and John Adams. Many also, come from conservative voices like Pat Buchanan, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Ronald Reagan, Ayn Rand, and even George W. Bush (before he became president and went back on his campaign promises to keep America out of open-ended wars and nation-building). So if your family, friends, or co-workers question your patriotism for opposing war, refer them to this list so they can see how the American Founding Fathers felt about war. And if you like this list please follow the links above to my FB and Twitter and Like and Follow The Humble Libertarian to get updates from me in your news stream. 1. "As far as I am concerned, war itself is immoral." -U.S. WWII General Omar Bradley 2. "The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the ins...

Can I Please Get a "Korean Lives Matter!" on Some Facebook and Twitter Feeds Right About Now?

Because apparently most Democrats right now seem more upset that Trump tweeted a silly video of himself hitting Hillary Clinton with a golf ball than they are about him actually threatening to commit genocide against North Koreans, and murder millions of innocent people there in a nuclear holocaust. "we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea." -Donald Trump Speech to the U.N., Sept 2017 These people have kids. Because apparently the whole nation will watch and rage when a crazy white supremacist crashes a car into a crowd of counter protesters and kills a woman, but most people have nothing to say about the President of the United States repeatedly threatening to crash a military into an entire country and kill millions . "They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen ... " -Donald Trump tweet, Aug 2017 An elderly North Korean woman and her grandchild wander among the debris of their home after being bombed by the...

If you're having trouble maintaining a gloomy mood this Labor Day morning, there's this: North Korea's Kim Jong Un is "begging for war," US ambassador Haley says at emergency UN Security Council meeting https://t.co/hvNF1B0iMo pic.twitter.com/AXlXNHV2Uk — CNN Breaking News (@cnnbrk) September 4, 2017 The bloody Washington regime continues to try to start a fight with North Korea instead of actually looking out for Americans and the world by working to keep things calm. If you're having trouble maintaining a happy mood because of that, there's this: If you want to be knowledgeable about North Korea and completely understand what's happening over there, please read this: The Latest News on North Korea from a Libertarian Perspective .

We Need Leadership: 7 NYPD Crisis Negotiations Techniques That Trump Should Use with North Korea

As tensions between the U.S. and North Korea rise, Donald Trump could show some real and effective leadership by consulting with some of his home city’s finest and most talented police officers: the NYPD Crisis Negotiations Team. By employing their professional negotiation techniques, used to neutralize volatile situations with hostage takers, people trying to commit suicide, and other people who pose an immediate danger to themselves and others, Donald Trump could go down in history as a brilliant negotiator and a good president that made the world a safer place to live... Please read the rest of my article which has been graciously published at The Jack News . And someone tweet this at the POTUS. Let's see if we can't save the world from a nuclear war with some New York know-how.

What Donald Trump Really Thinks About The Slain Navy SEAL

At the bottom of this post, I'm going to link to what is probably the most important article you can share this year. But first, here's proof of what Donald Trump really thinks about the Navy SEAL he honored in his first address to Congress... Even Donald Trump's enemies in the media and the Democratic Party, who have been relentlessly, fever-pitch critical of everything about his candidacy and his short time in office, suddenly heaped praise, admiration, and respect for Donald Trump for comforting the dead soldier's wife on television and calling him a hero. The entire four minutes of this grieving woman crying for her loss is very difficult to watch, and naturally stirs up a lot of emotion and empathy for her: Of course, Donald Trump's use of her emotions and ours as we watch is exploitative, as at least a few commentators are willing to point out, despite the completely false accusations that doing so is somehow disrespectful. This is textbook war pro...

Tired of Endless War? There's Only ONE Solution, and I Would Have Never Guessed

This free audiobook, The Origins of War in Child Abuse -- written by Lloyd Demause and read aloud by libertarianism's greatest living orator, Stefan Molyneux-- is a uniquely incisive work of historical scholarship that examines how human history was experienced by children, and why their experiences have created a society prone to the self-destructive frenzy of war. If you are anti-war, this book delves into the root causes of war in a way that no other has, and reveals so many interesting facts about the lead up to specific wars it will make your head spin. Demause makes a compelling case that war is not primarily an economic nor political phenomenon, but a psychological one. Demause's investigation into the history of war concludes that each war is an episode of mass hysteria centered on self-destruction and human sacrifice, and that the psychological motivations for war can only make sense to a society of people who were abused as children. If this is true, the one...

"They Died to Make Us Free" - Video

The beginning of wisdom is to call things by their proper names. A special message for those who celebrated Veteran's Day:

The Drone That Killed My Grandson

By NASSER al-AWLAKI The New York Times SANA, Yemen — I LEARNED that my 16-year-old grandson, Abdulrahman — a United States citizen — had been killed by an American drone strike from news reports the morning after he died. The missile killed him, his teenage cousin and at least five other civilians on Oct. 14, 2011, while the boys were eating dinner at an open-air restaurant in southern Yemen. I visited the site later, once I was able to bear the pain of seeing where he sat in his final moments. Local residents told me his body was blown to pieces. They showed me the grave where they buried his remains. I stood over it, asking why my grandchild was dead. Nearly two years later, I still have no answers. The United States government has refused to explain why Abdulrahman was killed. It was not until May of this year that the Obama administration, in a supposed effort to be more transparent, publicly acknowledged what the world already knew — that it was responsible for his death....

Inspector General Audit Finds Pentagon Giving Afghan Contracts to Terrorists!

"A new audit (pdf) from the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) has found significant weaknesses in the oversight intended to keep the Pentagon from giving contracts to Taliban and other insurgent factions. ... The conclusion is that the Pentagon has ended up contracting out to insurgents in the past, but even more frighteningly that it is almost certainly still doing so unwittingly, with Inspector Sopko urging Centcom to implement additional controls to examine contracts already given, and any future ones." Source: AntiWar.com Your tax dollars at work. Washington is taking your money from you, and giving it to terrorists, using it to pay people who are attacking and killing your sons, daughters, nephews, nieces, brothers, sisters, moms, and dads. Why isn't this a front page story? Who do we get to charge with aiding the enemy for this?

Social Justice Only Comes From The Market, Not The Regulatory and Welfare States

My friend Craig Schlesinger is on a roll getting the libertarian message out there. In one letter to the editor which made it into The Wall Street Journal, Craig reminds a Journal opinion columnist that the nation's fiscal problems aren't just the fault of the blue party. The red party's compassionate conservatism ramped up federal spending to unprecedented levels under George W. Bush. Then in a letter to The Tennessean, Craig takes down the regulatory state with a solid dose of economic thinking regarding anti-gouging laws and ticket sales . He concludes with a particularly tasty sentence: "...the vulnerable person is hurt the most by removing the distributive justice of the market." Yes. On his blog, Spatial Orientation , he credits Matt Zwolinski 's research into the ethics of exploitation as inspiration for his letter on anti-gouging laws. George W. Bush's Thoughts on Kony 2012

Aww, sad George W. Bush: "All that trouble to go to Iraq, and all I had to do was... make a 30 minute viral video." Silly liberal humanitarians, wars are for neocons. Wes Messamore , Editor in Chief, T H L Articles | Author's Page
