In my interview one week ago with two-term New Mexico Governor, Gary Johnson, he announced his new website OurAmericaInitiative.com would be ready very soon. Mr. Johnson said the site could be active within 24 hours, which didn't happen. Senate Democrats Reach Compromise on Health Reform Reports the Huffington Post : "Senate Democrats emerged from a caucus-wide meeting Wednesday evening tight-lipped about the elements of the "broad agreement" that has been reached on health care reform - in some cases literally so: Sen. Apparently , in one interview , Al Gore emphasized three times that the "Climate Gate" e-mails are over ten years old, when in truth the most recent e-mail was from last month (so we are going to see a Fact Check on this right? Please?) . But there's another take on this aside from Gore's glaring inaccuracy ( big surprise there, right?) , and that is the impotence of his argument. So what if the e-mails were ten years old? If they contain evidence of manipulation or fraud, their "oldness" doesn't somehow validate them or the motives and actions of the people who wrote them. Rasmussen Reports (H/T to Daily Paul ) : " Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke on Thursday voiced his opposition to legislation calling for regular audits of the Fed’s monetary policies, but 79% [holy cow!] of Americans think auditing the Fed is a good idea. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that just seven percent (7%) [why on earth?] of adults oppose auditing the Federal Reserve and making those results available to the public. Fourteen percent (14%) are not sure [just read this ] . " Awesome! Remember when it felt like 79% of people didn't even have a clue what the Fed was and why it needs to be audited (and ended !)?
