PATAGONIA, Ariz. (KTVU) - A letter to Santa made its way across the border and onto an Arizona ranch—— and into the hands of a generous man.

Randy Heiss went hiking near the U.S.-Mexico border and came across the remains of a balloon with a piece of paper attached to the string.

He discovered a list, written in Spanish with words like "doll," "dollhouse," and "clothes."
