Make us equal! Oppress others as much as you are oppressing me! I can bear it so long as all are oppressed equally!
Obviously that would make things worse.
A better approach would be:
Oppress no one! We will all be equal in one respect: We will each equally be held responsible for our own individual actions, and not treated as criminals and terrorists in advance merely because we belong to a broad category of people such as immigrants or people who want to fly on a commercial airliner today.
