Wes Messamore Interviews Doug Wead

Last month, I was excited to report that presidential historian and former Bush official, Doug Wead had jumped the establishment's ship to join Ron Paul 2012. This Tuesday, I had the incredible privilege and honor of interviewing Doug Wead for a half hour during the Ron Paul money bomb radio marathon. Listen to this man's words and you will be amazed. He is the real deal and we are lucky to have his help.

Oh and PS: To those commentators on some other websites poo pooing my story last month because I didn't reveal my source (which is pretty standard in journalism from what I understand), you can check Ron Paul's second quarter financial disclosures to the FEC and you will find that my report was in fact correct. Not only is Doug Wead's consulting firm listed in the list of Disbursements by Payee, but Doug Wead also is himself. The man's working for the Paul campaign :)

Occupy Mordor or Destroy the Ring?

There has been mixed responses to Occupy Wall Street by libertarians. Some see the movement as a positive, while others see them as little more than lazy hipsters. But libertarians must be sensitive to why people feel the way they do about issues. The occupiers point out a legitimate concern that "the 1%" control vastly more power and wealth than "the 99%", and corporations have accumulated more power and privilege than is healthy for an open society.
